What is the Email Newsletter tool?

The Email Newsletter tool helps you create one-off emails to send to your audience. Unlike email sequences that build from one email to the next, or email campaigns that focus specifically on offers, email newsletters focus on relevant topics for your audience with an offer presented at the end.

How to use the Email Newsletter tool

1. Select your product - Choose which product or service the newsletter relates to
2. Define your audience
3. • By default, it pulls in your brand-level customer avatar
   • You can select a more specific customer avatar from your product Playbook for more targeted messaging
4. Review product details
5. • The tool automatically pulls information from your product Playbook
   • This includes product name, benefits, and features
6. Add holiday or theme (optional)
7. • If your newsletter relates to a specific holiday or theme, add it here
   • Leave blank for general newsletters
8. Add specific topics (optional)
9. • If you have specific topics in mind, enter them here
   • Can be as basic or detailed as you want
   • Leave blank if you're not sure what to write about
10. Verify settings
11. • Check the readability level (defaults to 5th grade, which is recommended)
    • Confirm your brand voice is correct
12. Generate your newsletter
13. • The AI creates a complete newsletter with:
    • • Subject line
      • Introduction that sets expectations
      • Topic sections
      • Offer section
14. Edit your content
15. • Look for cues to add links to your offer
    • Select any text to have the AI rewrite sections
    • Make manual edits as needed
16. Save and export
17. • Your newsletter is automatically saved in your content history for 90 days
    • Copy to a Google doc or export to PDF as needed
