Touring Video Testimonials

⏱️ 3-5 min

Search for Video Testimonials, tell the Collectors and Responses tabs apart, and know what your customer will see.

Where it lives

The two main areas

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Video Testimonials, then open it. You can also find it in your menu, but menus can be renamed, so search is the sure way.

Your little video booths

A collector is your own branded page where customers record a video for you. Every collector you build shows up in this list.

  • Make as many as you like, such as one per service
  • The Create Collector button starts a new one
  • A brand new account shows an empty list, and that is fine

Your video inbox

Every video a customer sends lands here. You can watch it, see whether it is showing in your widget, and download the original file.

  • Look for a toggle that switches one testimonial on or off
  • Nothing else needs editing when you flip it
  • It may be empty until your first customer records

What your customer sees

A clean page with your logo, a few simple questions, and a button to record or upload a video. It works on a computer or a phone, with no app to download.

  • Customers get up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds
  • Use the preview on a collector to see it like they do
Why it matters

Why bother with video

A written review is good. A video is proof people can see and hear, and your software makes sending one easy.

📱

No app to install

Your customer taps a link, records on their phone, and the video lands in your account.

📎

No big attachments

No giant email files and no chasing people down to send them.

🧩

One page per service

Build a separate collector for each thing you sell so videos stay sorted.

📥

One place to review

Every video arrives in the Responses tab, ready for you to watch.

⚡ Tips

  • The Create Collector button may read slightly differently in your account, so say whichever you see.
  • An empty Responses tab is normal before your first customer records.
  • Think of one collector per service you sell as you look around.
  • Customers need no app, which is the main reason more of them will finish.

You are an organized setup helper helping me plan names for my video collectors. My context: - [my business] - [the services I offer] - [how I would like to keep videos sorted] Give me: - A list of one collector per service - A clear internal name for each - A note on which ones I should build first Keep names short and plain, and do not suggest any strategy, only setup.
