Touring the Social Planner

⏱️ 4-6 min

Find the Planner, Content, Statistics, and Settings areas, open the New Post menu, and filter your posts by status and account.

Where it lives

The four main areas

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Social Planner, then open it. The top of the screen splits into four areas. You can also find it in your menu, but menus can be renamed, so search is the sure way.

Your home base

A calendar where every draft, scheduled post, and published post sits on its date. A List View tab next to it shows the same posts as a list.

  • Calendar shows the big picture and empty days
  • List View is faster for finding one post

Reusable content

This is where reusable items like templates and queues live. What you see here depends on your account.

  • Look here after you start using templates or queues

How posts are doing

Numbers such as likes and reach for your connected accounts. You will go deeper on this later.

  • Nothing to see until accounts are connected and posts go out

The gear, top right

This is where you connect your social accounts. Nothing posts anywhere until at least one account is connected.

Why one place

What scheduling from one spot gives you

Posting app by app eats your evenings. One planner changes that.

📅

Batch a week at once

Write and schedule many posts in one sitting instead of posting every day.

👀

Spot empty days

The calendar shows gaps before your followers notice them.

👥

Team can see it

Everyone sees what is scheduled instead of guessing what already went out.

🔑

One login

Write once, pick the accounts, and skip the separate app logins.

🔍 Plan my planner tour

You are a friendly software trainer helping me learn my way around my social media scheduling tool. My context: - [my business and the platforms I post on] - [how many people on my team will use the planner] - [how often I plan to post] Give me: - A short checklist for touring Planner, Content, Statistics, and Settings - Three filters I should try first - A list of notes to jot down about what I see Use plain words and keep it under 250 words. Finish by asking me: "Which area of the planner looks most confusing to you right now?"

🗂️ Name my saved views

You are a organized operations helper helping me keep my post list easy to search. My context: - [my business] - [the accounts I post to] - [the statuses I check most: draft, scheduled, published, failed] Give me: - Four short names for saved views I could create - What filter settings each view would use - A weekly habit for checking them Keep names under four words and do not suggest content ideas. Finish by asking me: "Which view would save you the most time each week?"
