Touring Forms & Surveys

⏱️ 4-6 min

Find Forms and Surveys with Search, know what each tab does, and name the four zones inside the builder.

Where it lives

Three tabs on every Forms screen

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Forms, then open it. Search for Surveys the same way. You can also find it in your menu, but menus can be renamed, so search is the sure way.

Your list of forms

This is home base. Every form you build shows up here, and this is where you create and open them.

  • Click + Create New Form to start
  • Begin blank or pick a template

Where the answers land

Each time someone fills out your form, their entry shows up here.

  • One entry per person who submitted
  • Answers also reach the contact in your CRM

Views and finishes

See how many people viewed your form and how many finished it.

  • A big gap means people start but quit
Inside the builder

  • Drag items onto the canvas

Your form as visitors see it

The middle of the screen. What you build here is what people will see.

  • Changes show up right away

The look controls

On the right, with three tabs: Styles, Themes, and Advanced. You will use them in a later lesson.

  • Styles for layout and color
  • Themes for ready-made looks
  • Advanced for fine control

Your control strip

Across the top you will find Conditional Logic, a bell icon for notifications, Integrate for sharing and embedding, and Save.

⚡ Tips

  • Use a form for quick info like a contact request, intake, or order request.
  • Use a survey when you want to ask questions one slide at a time.
  • Forms and Surveys share the same builder, so skills carry over.
  • Do not memorize the layout. You will use each piece in the next few steps.

🔍 Plan my software tour

You are a friendly software trainer helping me learn my way around Forms and Surveys. My context: - [my business and what I sell] - [how people usually contact me today] - [how many people on my team will use this] Give me: - A short checklist for touring the Builder, Submissions, and Analytics tabs - Three questions to answer as I click around - A plain-language note on when I would use a form or a survey Use simple words and keep it under 200 words. Finish by asking me: "Which part of the builder looks most confusing right now?"

🗂️ Sort my form ideas

You are an organized setup helper helping me list the forms and surveys I want to build. My context: - [my business] - [what I need to collect from people, like contact requests, intake, or orders] - [who fills these out: leads, clients, or students] Give me: - A list of the forms I might build, in plain words - Which ones fit a single-page form and which fit a multi-slide survey - A clear name for each one so I can find it later Keep it simple and only list what to set up in the software. Finish by asking me: "Which of these do people ask me about most often?"
