Touring the Media Storage Screen

⏱️ 4-6 min

Find the folder area, the Upload button, the two views, sort, search, and Trash, and see why every builder uses the same library.

Where it lives

The main parts of the screen

Click Search at the top of your screen, type Media Storage and open it. You can also find it in your menu, but menus can be renamed, so search is the sure way. Every file you own lives in this one library.

Drawers on the left

The folder area sits on the left side. Folders work like drawers in a filing cabinet, and you can collapse the section to clean up your screen.

  • Collapse it when you have many folders
  • Expand it again when you need it

How files get in and how you see them

The Upload button at the top is how files come in. Grid View shows big picture tiles, and List View shows a tidy list with file details.

  • Grid View is great for hunting an image
  • List View is great for comparing files

Find things fast

The Sort menu orders files by name, size, or date modified. The page's own search bar looks through every folder at once.

  • Sort newest first to see what you just added
  • Sort by size to spot the biggest files

Your safety net

Deleted files wait in Trash for 30 days before they are gone. Look near the top-right for an indicator that shows how much space your files use.

  • Open the three-dot menu and look for Trash
  • The indicator may sit in a different spot in your account

🔍 Plan my library tour

You are a software trainer helping me get comfortable with my file library. My context: - [my business and what I sell] - [the kinds of files I use most, like logos, photos, or PDFs] - [which builders I use, like funnels or emails] Give me: - A short checklist for touring the folder area, Upload button, views, sort, and search - Which view I should try first for my kind of files - Three questions to note down about what I see on screen Use plain words and keep it under 250 words. Finish by asking me: "Which part of the library screen feels most confusing right now?"

📋 List my files in one place

You are a organized assistant helping me list every file I want in one library. My context: - [my business] - [where my files live now, like my computer, phone, or old website] - [the main places I use files, like pages, emails, or social posts] Give me: - A plain list of the file types I own - Which ones I should upload first - A note on where each type gets used Do not suggest strategy, only what to gather and upload. Finish by asking me: "Which of these files do I use most often?"

You now know where everything lives, and that is the hard part. Open your library, click around for two minutes, then come back to learn the three ways to upload.
