Creating a Document in the Editor

⏱️ 5-7 min

Name a new document, add content with the toolbar, format text, use split columns, and save it.

Step by step

Build a simple document

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Documents & Contracts, then open it. Click + New and choose New Document. Then work through these steps.

1

Name it

Click the title at the top and type a name you will recognize later, like Website Design Proposal.

2

Drag in elements

Use the element toolbar. Drag Text, Image, Video, Table, or Page Break onto the page where you want it.

3

Type and format

Click inside a Text block and type. Select words and look for the formatting bar to resize, bold, align, or add a link.

4

Try split columns

Drag an element right beside another one and let go when the guide appears. They now share one row.

5

Save it

Click Save. The document waits in your Draft tab until you send it.
