Creating a Campaign From a Template

⏱️ 4-6 min

Start a campaign from a ready-made template, name it, open it in the builder, and save it.

Step by step

Your first campaign in five clicks

Click Search at the top of your screen and type Email Builder, then open it and click the Campaigns tab. You will have a real campaign in your list in minutes.

1

Click New

Click New, then choose Email Marketing Templates. A library of designs opens.

2

Browse and preview

Scroll through the designs and click one to see it bigger. Look at the layout, not the colors or sample pictures. You can swap those in seconds.

3

Continue

When one fits how you will tell your story, click Continue.

4

Name it

Use a name you will recognize in six months, like Fall Sale Announcement. Your contacts never see this name.

5

Open and Save

Your campaign opens in the builder. You do not have to change anything yet. Just click Save so your work is kept.

Other ways to start

Three starting points

A template is the fastest way, but it is not the only door.

🎨

Template

Best for most people. Layout, spacing, and buttons are already in place.

⬜

Blank

A clean canvas for when you have a very specific idea in mind.

💻

HTML code

Choose the blank option, then look for the Code Editor choice. Paste your code and see a preview.

⏪

Version History

On the Campaigns list, open the three dots and look for See Version History to find an earlier version.

⚡ Tips

  • Choose by layout, since structure is the hard part to change later.
  • A clear name finds last spring's email in ten seconds instead of ten minutes.
  • If you are newer to this, stay with a template. It is faster and looks polished.
  • Do not send anything yet. Building is safe, and sending comes later.

🏷️ Name my campaigns

You are an email organization helper helping me name my campaigns so I can find them later. My context: - [my business] - [the kinds of emails I send] - [how often I send them] Give me: - Eight campaign name ideas in one clear pattern - A short rule I can follow every time - Two names that are too vague, and a fix for each Keep each name under six words with no jargon. Finish by asking me: "Which naming pattern feels easiest for me to keep using?"

🎨 Pick a template layout

You are an email design helper helping me choose a template layout. My context: - [what my email is about] - [how many pictures or buttons I want] - [how long my message is] Give me: - The layout style that fits, such as image on top or mostly text - Why that structure works for my message - What I can change easily and what is harder to change Focus on layout and structure, not colors. Finish by asking me: "What is the one thing I most want readers to click?"
