Connecting Your Facebook Business Page

⏱️ 4-6 min

Connect your Facebook page the right way, approve the right permissions, and see the green success banner.

Step by step

Connect your page

Slow down and do each step. One skipped permission is the top reason leads go missing.

1

Check who you are

You need to be an admin of the Facebook page and have access to the Business Manager tied to it. Make sure you are logged into the right Facebook profile in this browser.

2

Click Connect

On the Facebook / Instagram card, click Connect. A Facebook login pop-up opens. Log in if it asks you to.

3

Approve permissions

Say yes to access to your leads and your page data. If you turn those off, your software cannot pull in leads.

4

Pick your page

Use the search box to find your page by name, then select it. If it is missing, you may have skipped sharing it in the pop-up.

5

Choose a sync option

Pick All Leads or New Leads Only. You will learn how to choose in a later step. Then click Connect and Continue.

6

Look for the banner

A green banner that says Integration successful means you did it. The card should now show as connected.

⚡ Tips

  • Facebook changes its permission screens now and then. The wording may differ, but the goal is the same: allow access to your leads.
  • Keep the page you run lead ads on selected in the pop-up.
  • If your page is missing from the list, run the connect steps again and share it.
  • If you also run Instagram, a business account linked to the page can come along too.

✅ Build my pre-connect checklist

You are a careful setup coach helping me prepare to connect my Facebook page. My context: - [my page name] - [who owns the page and the ad account] - [my role on the page] Give me: - A short checklist to run before I click Connect - What to do if I am not an admin - Questions to ask the page owner Keep every item to one line. Finish by asking me: "Is there any role or login on my page I have not checked yet?"

✉️ Ask the owner for access

You are a polite communicator helping me write a message asking the page owner for admin access. My context: - [the owner's name] - [my business] - [why I need to connect lead ads] Give me: - A short email or text - A clear request for admin and Business Manager access - A friendly thank-you line Keep it under 100 words with no jargon. Finish by asking me: "What would make the owner say yes quickly?"

A careful connection now means your leads flow from day one. Go connect your page and look for that green banner.
