Complete your branded app form from start to finish, including business details, developer credentials, branding assets, and graphic uploads, then submit with confidence and know exactly what happens next.
The form is comprehensive, but preparation makes it fast.
What to enter, section by section.
Exactly what images you need and in what format.
Why it matters for app store approval.
How to monitor your status and grab your live links once approved.
The form opens with your core information. Have ready: your first and last name, phone number and email address, your account name (your business name as it appears inside your software), your full business address, your DUNS number, and a support URL, such as yourwebsite.com/support.
Next you'll enter developer credentials: your Apple Developer email and password, your Google Developer email and password, and a support email address, such as [email protected], where students can reach you directly.
Finally, app distribution and legal pages: which countries your app should be available in, your app name, a long description of about 150 words, a short description of about 80 characters, and your terms and conditions and privacy policy URLs. These legal pages are required, and they protect both you and your students on matters of intellectual property and data use.
Enter your primary brand color as a hex code. This is the main color used inside the app interface, so have it ready before you open the form.
You'll need four graphics prepared in advance:
| Graphic | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| App Icon | PNG | Use a colorful background with your logo or brand mark. Make it visually distinct. |
| Splash Screen | PNG | Can include your logo, brand text, or a full image. Your branded loading experience. |
| Place Store Graphic | PNG | Shown on mobile and desktop. Include a strong visual with your app name or tagline. |
| App Carousel (x4) | SVG only | 392 x 440 pixels. Each image pairs with a short description. Use mockups or screenshots of what students will see. |
To export SVG carousel images from Canva, click Share, then Download, and select SVG from the file type dropdown. Adobe Photoshop and other design tools also support SVG export. The carousel is the only SVG requirement; everything else is PNG.
Keywords help people find your app when searching inside the App Store or Google Play. Think about what your app is about and what your students might type when searching. Examples: coaching, consulting, online courses, community, fitness, food, fashion, home improvement, business education.
Choose keywords that are specific to your content and audience. Generic keywords create more competition and reduce your visibility.
Before you submit, the form includes a confirmation checkbox asking you to confirm that your Apple Developer account has been verified and approved, and that your Google Play Console account has been verified and approved.
Important: if either account is not yet paid and verified at the time of submission, your app production can be delayed by up to 60 days. Only check this box when both accounts are genuinely confirmed.
A thank-you message appears briefly, confirming the form was received and directing you to check status in your account.
Your app appears greyed out while your submission is reviewed. This is normal, your software is processing your information before submitting to Apple and Google.
Once the status turns blue, your app has been submitted to Apple and Google. Allow two to three weeks for their review and approval.
Once approved and live, return to the Branded Mobile App section to grab your App Store and Google Play links to share with your students.
