Add a step with a clean page path, drag steps into the right order, and know what the step menu offers.
Step by step
Add a new step
A new step needs a name and a path. Both take seconds.
1
Click Add New Step
Open your funnel and click the Add New Step button. A form pops up.
2
Type the step name
This name is just for you. Use something clear, like Thank You.
3
Type the page path
This is the end of the web address. Keep it short, lowercase, and use hyphens instead of spaces.
4
Pick template or blank
Start from a ready-made step template or start blank.
5
Create it
Click the create button, which may say Create Funnel Step. The step lands at the bottom of the list.
6
Drag to reorder
Click and hold a step, drag it to a new spot, and confirm the new order. Read the pop-up first.
Path ideas
Make your links easy to read
A good path tells you what the page is without opening it.
๐ค
Short and lowercase
Use thank-you, not Thank You Page!
โ
Hyphens for spaces
Use free-guide instead of free guide.
๐
Nested paths
A path like /offer/checkout groups related pages. It is marked Beta, so confirm it works in your account.
๐งช
Practice first
Try clone, move, and delete on a practice funnel, never a live one.

๐ Write my page paths
You are a link naming helper helping me create short page paths for my funnel steps.
My context:
- [my funnel and its goal]
- [the list of steps I plan to have]
- [the order visitors will see them]
Give me:
- A clean lowercase path for each step
- Which steps could share a nested path
- Words I should avoid in a path
Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Finish by asking me: "Which step do I still need to name?"
๐งญ Plan my step order
You are a organized funnel planner helping me put my funnel steps in the right order.
My context:
- [the pages I have or want]
- [what the visitor should do on each]
- [the final page I want them to reach]
Give me:
- A numbered step order
- A one-line job for each step
- A check that the thank-you page comes after the opt-in
Keep it to what to set up in the software.
Finish by asking me: "Which step am I unsure belongs where?"
Add one step, put it in order, and check its path. That is a funnel that makes sense to visitors.
